World Gymnastics Cup DOBRO World Cup will become the center of gymnastics on May 26 and May 27. The organizers of this world event are trying to make the citizens of the city of Osijek and all of its guests feel especially good this weekend.
Therefore, inspired by the skiing World Cup and the Snow Queen, after the qualification competitions on Friday, May 25 in the Osijek’s park of Petar Kresimir IV will be held a public drawing of start numbers in all ten-disciplines of the finals which are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday all within the FEELGOOD WEEKEND, Gastro&Wine Music Festival which will be held in one of the most beautiful parks in the city in front of the Sokolski Dom in the heart of gymnastics in Osijek. After the drawing, which will be attended by all the finalists, will perform the band S.A.R.S. and the day after in the same place we will be joined by the band The Frajle.
With the above-mentioned performers on Friday (May 25) from 5 p.m. and Saturday (May 26) from 11 a.m. until the end of the day, all visitors of the FEELGOOD Festival will be able to enjoy an atmosphere which will combine concerts, street food, wine and craft beer.
Some of the Osijek’s top restaurants and bars have decided to present themselves with their new street food editions. In street food editions restaurants American bar Dollar, Muzej okusa, and Lumiere wok will present themselves. Hook&Cook will be joining us from Pula with an offer of tuna steaks and burgers and from Zagreb, we will be joined by the famous Time restaurant with a special offer of award-winning sandwiches and pastries. Snacks will be provided by the brand DOBRO, which not only enriches every segment of the Osijek World Cup but also represents Slavonija with all its flavors and lifestyle in a modern yet trustworthy manner.
The regional winery will ensure 10 famous vintners and Gajba will make a selection of craft beers for those who decide that beer is a better alternative for the FEELGOOD WEEKEND. Good coffee, lemonade or some other beverages will be provided by Trica. The 4B winery will refresh the visitors with „real“ and children’s spritzers. All will be accompanied by the acoustic tunes of the young urban bends or the beats of Osijek’s DJs in the PlanB zone.
The fulfilled weekend programme also includes cooperation with the culinary association Taste Of Croatia which will organize a competition among young chefs, the Mini MasterChef on Friday, while Saturday will be reserved especially for the local caterers – cooking show by Nenad Komes and Robert Hromalić will present ways how the traditional cuisine can be reinterpreted. The whole park will be crowded with various events and prize competitions for all generations.
